4th of July, Easton's 4th birthday, and our new house

Happy Birthday Easton! He has been wanting to turn 4 for months! He always told everyone that he was 4 yrs old when he really was 3. We had a great birthday celebration for him. My parents, Amy and her family, and Chris and his family came down for this last weekend. So Easton felt very loved that all his cousins were here to celebrate with him. It started with breakfast in bed. All he wanted was donuts. Then we went butterfly collecting up in the canyon. Had lunch. Then went swimming. Had dinner and his party. And ended the night with night collecting. It was so much fun! We got Easton a lizard for his birthday.

Our next biggest surprize is that we bought a house. We weren't even looking but it happened to be a great deal so we put an offer in. Within a week we closed on the house! It's our dream house and I don't ever think we'll have to move. It wasn't completed all the way so this last month we have been working our butts off to get the certificate of occupancy. We had to finish electrical (thanks Andrew!), plumbing, carpet, granite, backsplashes, grating the yard, staining doors (thanks Ken!), and a few other things. During our adventure we have caught a bird, lizard, and a bat inside our house! Outside we have caught a huge turtle and kept it for a pet for a bit. To top it all off, when we signed on the house the bank let us know that the city was changing the street names in our neighborhood that next week. Aaron went to city counsel and purposed a new street name and luckily we got it! Crazy hu! Thanks mom for watching the kids!

This last weekend was great since we could house my whole family for the 4th. It was fun swimming, launching bottle rockets, and lighting fireworks! Thanks for coming guys! We love you!

As for the baby. At 38 weeks I was 50% effaced and 2.5 cm dialated. And I feel great despite my swelling.

Sorry I don't have a pic of the house. My camera just broke.

Our family watching fireworks.

Chirs and Aaron hanging a garbage can over the street lamp by our house so we could see the fireworks. It was funny.

Adelin with grandma and grandpa smith. She liked fireworks a little bit more this year but was still unsure about them.

Adelin, Easton, and I watching the bottles launching.

This was Adelin's first time night collecting. She loved it but was a little tired.

Someone started putting beetles on everyone elses back. It was pretty funny to see everyone running around sceaming.

We caught a bunch of beetles and Aaron poured them on himself.

Megan, Mom, me, and Amy night collecing. When you collect you have to keep your hoods up otherwise bugs fly in your hair.

My mom first off took my kids for almost 2 weeks then she came down and help finish up the house for about 2 weeks. Thanks mom!! She is my life savor!

Megan and Chris got married in Snow Canyon. It was so pretty! The sand did burn my feet! I ended up doing the food and it turned out great; unfortunatly, I didn't get any pictures! Hopefully Megans photographer did. It was fun to see you Lindsay!!

We had a neighborhood bbq at our old neighborhood. They had a balloon launch and it was so fun! I will miss our old neighbors it was really fun to live there.
